“ Highly recommend this place for those looking for authentic halal meal on the way to the airport. Spices and flavours were great. I ordered a Beef roast curry, Parotta and Honey Chilli Mandi. Also, highly recommend the mint lime juice too. ”
“ My second time at Makani restaurant to enjoy South Indian cuisine(Kerala food esp.) and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. I highly recommend trying their coconut milk paratha with beef(alias paal paratha ;) and chicken mandi – each dish was flavorful and well-prepared. The service was excellent, with attentive staff ensuring a great dining experience. Overall, a fantastic place to enjoy delicious food with family, friends etc. Will visit again. Love from Dundee. ”
“ 100/100. No complaints! The server is very friendly and helps with my ordering. I do love the rice perfectly seasoned! The curry is very tasty as well but the mandi wins! I visited this restaurant twice in the same week. I will definitely come back to this place:) ”
“ Another good Kerala restaurant The food was nice, friendly staff, great ambience. A family-friendly restaurant. We really enjoyed our visit today. Around 40 seats in there. I didn't notice alcohol option or byob but there are plenty pubs around the location. ”
“ I really don’t write reviews often but this one made me to. Spectacular dishes especially the chicken tikka and Alfham mandi were bangers. Price is reasonable, the background songs were so smoothing to the ears and heart. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommended! ”
“ Easily a highlight of my trips to Edinburgh! This is a fantastic fusion restaurant with amazing food, only surpassed by how great and kind the staff here are. The food is layered with depths of flavours from two different cuisines, both complimenting each other and combining to create real soul and comfort. All at silly good prices! The Kanthari Alfahm Mandi is seriously rich and intense in bold flavours, but very well balanced and just works so well. Generous portion sizes will have you satisfied! The staff are extremely good people, charitable and kind. I got to see how much this is a part of who they are, and although not a part of my service, it really elevated my experience to see it and made me glad to me in the hospitality of such great people. Fully recommend here! ”
“ We are visited there on our Holiday trip to Edinburgh. Food was amazing, tried Honey alfam manthi and chattichoru, both were delicious. Mint lime was over the top... Great place. ”
“ Great food and amazing service. Their bhindi masala, roti, various chicken rice mandi, mango lassi and desi masala chai (tea) were great. I'd highly recommend this place. We also got mandi rice packed to go as we thought it was very reasonable too. There's paid parking option on next street less than a minute walk. ”
